[From ONTD]
Sources tell me that Kelly Rowland has returned to the recording studio where she's recording some new tracks that her label plans to strip onto her CD, 'Ms. Kelly,' with intentions to re-release the album. The Destiny's Child singer released her sophomore solo record on July 3 to lackluster sales. The CD sold 83,700 copies in its first week despite the hit single, "Like This," which featured Eve. A rep for Rowland confirmed the plans. "We are planning to re-release the album later this fall," Columbia Records' Yvette Noel Schure told me via e-mail. Rowland's 2002 pop CD, 'Simply Deep,' was certified gold (500,000 units sold) in the United States and certified platinum (one million units sold) in the U.K.
Kelly, I can only root for the underdog for so long, help yourself too bb. LEAVE MATTHEW KNOWLES' MANAGEMENT.
[Methinks her problem is larger that Matthew and his dirty bag of tricks. She just wants to be able to call him "father" in public every once in a while.]

From the "WHY?!" Files:
Ike Turner Reality Show
[I'm ashamed to admit, while looking for photos of Ikey, I noticed that he used to be fine.]
Everywhere You Don't Need Her To Be
Sneak peek of Beyonce pitching for American Express.
[Tina manages to finagle her witchypooness into everything. So why don't you ever see her posing behind the counter when Solange is hawking peanuts at the Houston Astros games, huh?!]
Opbama!
Oprah/Obama Star-studded spectacular event raises $3 million for campaign
[I love how Oprah always stays mum about her political afilliation as if it's really a secret. You cannot be a philanthropist and be a conservative. It would disrupt the space-time continuum.]
In Case You Forgot:
Halle Berry is pregnant.
And Now For Another Terrence Howard Moment of Clarity:
Like when you told Elle magazine that you preferred for women to use baby wipes instead of toilet paper. That got a lot of coverage. Was anything misinterpreted there?
"You know, my views and focus never change. They remain the same, about trying to find a cleaner way to live, and to be safer, you know? And maybe we should be a little more careful about social mores instead of this loose living that everybody’s gotten caught up in. We’ve lost our moral values a little bit. That’s what I was touching on. I believe as an artist, my nature is to speak. Do I think we need to readdress how we clean ourselves? Yeah. It took a long time for soap to catch on. Now everyone uses soap. So let’s be a little more clean, you guys. Let’s not be germophobic, but let’s be clean when we can. "
